In the Garden
You did this for me
Before I could do it for you
You voice was a whispered melody
Singing songs of comfort to my heart
Your breath was heavy with the scent of blackberries
Their sweetness was a purple heaven on my lips
As you kissed me
I could have been a cloud I
felt so light
I was so easily gathered into your arms
You held me like a mother, comforting me
As I wished to comfort you
Ageless moments collapsed
into a second
As you were enveloped into me as one soul
In the garden
While the world flew past
Better Left Unsaid
There is no thought in the
Middle of the air
Where sight and sound merge into
A word that is spoken out of turn
When the last rocket blares
And your blood turns into flowers
Then we’ll know it all
How many times will I have to
say this?
Birth of a star
The band of light encircles
us
As joined into one being -
Molten silver flowing through our veins -
Sunbursts exploding along our synapses -
Incandescent glory pouring from our eyes -
We move as a lava flow in graceful arc
With a heat whiter than the purest soul
With a heart purer than the finest gold
With a joy deeper than the night itself
We are created in this light
One brightly burning sun…
